Senior Solutions Engineer (Python/SQL)

What you will do

• Lead strategic technical engagements with enterprise clients and design solutions for complex business challenges.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures, pipelines, and workflows using tools such as PySpark and Databricks.
• Translate business requirements into production-ready data solutions and customer-specific integrations.
• Extract, transform, and analyze client data to improve incentive compensation and sales performance strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services to deliver actionable datasets and insights.
• Improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability while standardizing repeatable solutions and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Sales Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including efficient production-grade coding.
• Experience with modern data lakehouse architectures such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Strong customer empathy, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or optimization models.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience integrating with Salesforce or working with financial or sales data.
• Experience in incentive compensation management, sales performance management, or sales operations.
