Mechanical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus annual bonus, long-term incentive compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop mechanical designs for new technologies and products from concept through production.
• Build, test, and refine prototypes using knowledge gained from experimentation.
• Use CNC machining and turning centers, 3D printers, laser cutters, and scientific equipment for hands-on product development.
• Collaborate with scientists, electrical and optical engineers, manufacturing partners, industrial designers, and clients.
• Contribute to robotic systems, industrial automation, and other multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of industry experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Broad technical background and ability to learn unfamiliar technologies.
• Experience developing designs, building prototypes, and testing mechanical systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, or other manufacturing processes.
• Experience designing robotic systems or industrial automation.
