What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to define project guidance, deliverables, schedules, and status reporting.
• Coordinate stakeholders, priorities, dependencies, feature rollouts, and risks across related teams.
• Drive software projects from inception through production and address gaps in larger initiative plans.
• Develop and maintain project plans using Jira and enhance project management tools with AI.
• Recommend process improvements and provide strategic problem-solving support.
• Mentor junior technical project managers and expand project management practices across the firm.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with engineering teams and managing software development projects in finance or trading.
• Ability to assess how proposed changes affect systems, business processes, and the trading lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand complex technical concepts.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Command-line comfort, programming or scripting experience, and knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
