Trading Desk Technology Project Manager (Financial Technology)

Location: Onsite in the Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania office, Philadelphia area; periodic international travel is required, generally a few times per year. Occasional work outside standard local business hours may be needed to collaborate with EMEA and APAC stakeholders.

What you will do

• Coordinate cross-functional technology initiatives across technical leads, traders, developers, infrastructure, networking, market data, operations, and global stakeholders.
• Track project status, ownership, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, commitments, and next steps.
• Build enough technical and trading context to understand system relationships, data flows, and upstream and downstream impacts.
• Identify unclear ownership, missing dependencies, conflicting assumptions, delivery risks, and end-to-end readiness gaps.
• Provide concise updates, facilitate meetings, document decisions, and escalate issues when objectives or timelines are at risk.
• Maintain project tracking and documentation in tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in technical project management, technical program management, business analysis, systems analysis, or a related project-execution role.
• Experience supporting complex initiatives across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to understand technical systems, dependencies, data flows, and delivery impacts well enough to coordinate work effectively.
• Strong organization, follow-through, written and verbal communication, judgment, and ability to drive progress without direct authority.
• Experience with project tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to work from the Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania office, participate in periodic international travel, and occasionally work outside standard local business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in trading technology, financial systems, market data, infrastructure, production engineering, or another real-time technical environment.
• Experience coordinating software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, networking, or production-support teams.
• Technical, engineering, information systems, or analytical background.
• Familiarity with data analysis, scripting, automation, or AI tools.
