Manufacturing Quality Engineer (Energy Storage)

hirify.global is localizing the battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, and production of energy storage materials in the United States.

What you will do

• Develop process and product quality standards, quality plans, and inspection procedures for energy storage products.
• Lead DFMEAs, PFMEAs, Process Control Plans, and other quality risk mitigation activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement quality processes and achieve quality objectives.
• Execute quality readiness activities for production ramp-up and ensure manufacturing standards are communicated and maintained.
• Lead structured problem-solving teams, root-cause investigations, and the implementation and validation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Work with the quality systems team to follow and improve quality standards and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a quality role.
• Experience with power electronics or battery technologies.
• Experience leading structured problem-solving methodologies and developing quality tools and systems.
• Experience with process data acquisition, quality analysis tools, and statistical methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a calm and collaborative approach to execution.
