Process Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: New Kensington, Pennsylvania, United States. Willingness to travel 10%–25% depending on business needs.

What you will do

• Support cross-functional teams and reduce process and product non-conformances through data analysis and reporting.
• Participate in APQP quality planning, including control plans, inspection plans, PPAP, FAIR, and FMEA/PFMEA activities.
• Lead or support continual improvement, material review board activities, and root cause corrective actions.
• Work with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to resolve problems and validate product quality requirements.
• Perform internal, process, product, supplier, customer, and document audits.
• Mentor and train colleagues while contributing to quality improvement projects and development plans.

Requirements

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification or a two-year engineering-related college degree with at least 5 years of manufacturing quality experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, guide improvement decisions, and prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and planning tools, including Infor Syteline or SAP.
• Expertise with CAD/CAE tools or data-intensive user interfaces.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and especially Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience in battery production, machining, electronic assembly, or harnessing.
