Engineer, Test Equipment Maintenance & Preventative Maintenance

What you will do

• Maintain and support semiconductor test manufacturing equipment to meet reliability, uptime, quality, and productivity targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Lead equipment qualification, installation, upgrades, and new equipment introduction activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to reduce downtime and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Process, Quality, Facilities, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in test equipment engineering, equipment maintenance, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment performance optimization, and new equipment introduction.
• Proficiency in RCA, 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and CAPA problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain safety, quality, and operational standards.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of automation systems, machine controls, PLCs, motion control, robotics, and equipment integration.
• Experience with tester and handler equipment in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OEE, utilization, downtime, throughput, statistical methods, and manufacturing performance metrics.
• Experience with Industry 4.0, digitalization, predictive maintenance, programming, scripting, equipment communication protocols, or database applications.
• Experience leading equipment improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction projects.
