Technician 3, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance

Location: Onsite in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing machines and maintain service records.
• Act as the first line of response for unplanned machine downtime and quality issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment and restore machines under changing conditions and time pressure.
• Document major equipment downtime through chronological event and action reports.
• Collaborate with different departments to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma in any engineering discipline.
• Up to five years of work experience is encouraged.
• Good command of English is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a basic understanding of control systems.
• Basic knowledge of automation and machine programming; PLC experience is an advantage.
• Ability to operate CAD or computer programming tools; Python or C++ knowledge is an advantage.
