What you will do
- Interview mortgage applicants, explain available financing options, and recommend loan programs aligned with their goals.
- Originate loans and manage the full pipeline from application through funding, including reviewing borrower documentation and resolving discrepancies.
- Respond to buyers, clients, and operations partners while maintaining accurate records in loan origination and CRM systems.
- Review leads, develop mortgage business in builder communities and real estate offices, and market products accurately.
- Present loan products to sales staff, provide weekend coverage at builder communities and grand openings, and attend loan closings when possible.
- Provide disclosures on time, follow quality-control policies and regulatory requirements, and assist with post-closing or funding issues when needed.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in mortgage loan origination, customer relationship management, and business development.
- Ability to review loan documentation for accuracy and address discrepancies.
- Ability to maintain loan and customer records in origination and CRM software.
