Senior Account Manager (Oil & Gas): Managing and expanding strategic enterprise accounts for Cognite’s industrial DataOps and AI software with an accent on executive relationships, customer value realization, renewals, and upselling. Focus on building account roadmaps, solving adoption and renewal challenges, and coordinating Sales, Product, Marketing, and channel partners to increase customer ROI.

What you will do
- Manage relationships with ’s most valuable enterprise customers, typically overseeing one or two key accounts.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with business executives, IT stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Develop value roadmaps and account plans aligned with customer business strategies and desired outcomes.
- Drive account expansion, renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Sales.
- Communicate the product roadmap, represent the customer’s voice to Product Management, and support customer engagement initiatives.
- Assess renewal risks and collaborate with internal teams and partners to maximize customer value.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading customer engagements as an Account Manager or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of account management methodologies, including segmentation, customer journeys, and customer health scoring.
- Commercial experience with renewals, upselling, and expanding complex enterprise deals.
- Background in SaaS, data platforms, and the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience selling to C-level stakeholders across business and IT, including collaboration with channel partners.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required. Familiarity with Salesforce, MEDDPICC, and Clari is expected.
