Manufacturing Engineer (Composites)

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement projects for composite production, focusing on safety, quality, cost, manufacturability, delivery, and customer value.
• Own hardware from concept generation through real-world use and support the integration of new products into serial production.
• Lead design reviews, perform analyses, visit vendors, and define and execute hardware test plans.
• Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
• Identify production waste and implement strategies to reduce defects.
• Support customer hardware demonstrations and travel to installation sites as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience with experience and interest in composite manufacturing processes.
• Expert proficiency with SolidWorks, PDM, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams, blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to create technical drawings using appropriate dimensions and tolerances, including GD&T.
• Knowledge and application of continuous improvement philosophies, methodologies, and tools, with strong collaboration and workload-management skills.
