Staff Test Development Engineer (3D NAND)

Location: Onsite in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Design, assess, develop, and maintain 3D NAND module-level test solutions across hardware, software, and data analysis.
• Develop R&D and mass-production programs for Advantest T5773, T5831 series, and internally designed platforms.
• Bring up and correlate test equipment for new packages, including DSA design and pin/channel mapping.
• Create and integrate product-specific test flows for high-volume manufacturing requirements.
• Support activities from pre-silicon through post-silicon, including design validation, engineering evaluation, qualification, and failure analysis.
• Investigate design, process, and packaging issues while improving yield, screen coverage, and test time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 10–15 years of experience in test or software development.
• Experience developing ATE code for memory testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Bash, Python, C#, C, and C++.
• Experience with bench equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of software release processes, testing methodologies, DFT, and DOE.

• Leadership, communication, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with software debugging, hardware troubleshooting, project management, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
