Sr. Test Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite at the Penang office

What you will do

• Develop ATE test solutions, test programs, and production releases for new analog and mixed-signal power IC products.
• Design component-level circuits for precision parametric measurement and dynamic signal analysis.
• Create, debug, correlate, and characterize automated test hardware and software.
• Support design-for-testability, IOS, qualification, and production release activities throughout the product development cycle.
• Collaborate with IC developers worldwide and travel to China and global subcontractor locations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3–10 years of power management IC testing experience, with a focus on NPD/NPI test development.
• Experience with ATE test development processes and qualification criteria.
• Strong semiconductor power IC testing experience and familiarity with platforms such as Teradyne ETS-88, ETS-364, J750, Changchuan CTA8280F, or CTA8290D.
• Must be able to work from the Penang, Malaysia office.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cadence schematic tools.
• PCB layout experience.
