Test Development Engineer (ATE)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite at the Malaysia office. Travel to China and worldwide subcontractor locations is required.

What you will do

• Develop ATE test solutions, test programs, and automated test system software for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
• Design component-level circuits for precision parametric measurement and dynamic signal analysis.
• Support design for testability, test hardware and software design, hands-on debugging, correlation, and characterization.
• Drive products through qualification and production release as part of new product development.
• Collaborate with IC developers and subcontractors worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3–10 years of power management IC testing experience, focused on NPD/NPI test development.
• Knowledge of ATE test development processes and qualification criteria.
• Strong experience with semiconductor power ICs and ATE platforms such as Teradyne ETS-88, ETS-364, J750, Changchuan CTA8280F, or CTA8290D.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Ability to work onsite in the Penang, Malaysia office and travel to China and worldwide subcontractor locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cadence schematic tools.
• PCB layout experience.
