Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Location: Remote from California, United States

Salary: $102,800–$190,204 annual base pay, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Manage and maintain Linux infrastructure, servers, services, and networking systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud architecture, including Azure NetApp Files and other Azure-native services.
• Deploy and fine-tune virtualized, cloud, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Operate disaster recovery, patching, backup, monitoring, and business continuity processes.
• Implement infrastructure automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate with project management, IT, and Security teams to design secure solutions and document operational standards.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience as a Platform Engineer managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, Azure NetApp Files, AKV, Cloud Functions, OCI, and Linux RHEL.
• Experience with Terraform, ADO, GitHub, Puppet Configuration Management, and VMware administration.
• Programming or scripting experience, preferably with Bash.
• Knowledge of virtualized environments, storage systems, cloud-native architectures, hybrid environments, and computer networking.
• Ability to develop custom solutions for complex IT infrastructure problems and evaluate emerging technologies.
