Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Palo Alto, New York, San Francisco, Austin, Boston, Century City, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, or Seattle; hybrid or virtual/remote

Salary: $163,200–$220,800 per year in Palo Alto, New York, and San Francisco; $147,050–$198,950 per year in Austin, Boston, Century City, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, and Seattle. A discretionary year-end merit bonus may also be available.

What you will do

• Design, architect, advise on, and implement workflows and services across the firmwide cloud environment.
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Microsoft Azure and other cloud solutions.
• Bridge IT Infrastructure and IT Applications through Azure DevOps, Power Platform, Graph API, Foundry, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet best practices for performance, cost, data protection, security, and compliance.
• Develop technology roadmaps covering lifecycle, capacity, availability, obsolescence, and vendor planning.
• Perform root cause analysis, restore interrupted services, prevent recurring issues, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a senior cloud systems administrator or in a comparable role.
• 5+ years managing and designing Azure environments, including deployment, scaling, data protection, and security.
• 5+ years managing Kubernetes clusters and advanced knowledge of container technologies in Azure.
• 5+ years working with application development pipelines and infrastructure integration.
• 4+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD, Power Platform, Foundry, Copilot, Graph API, Logic Apps, and Function Apps; strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience in the legal vertical.
