Lead Product Designer (Core Journey)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $148,000–$185,000 USD annually, plus bonus, equity, and applicable benefits.

What you will do

• Lead design for complex product surfaces, platform capabilities, and strategic initiatives with broad business and cross-team impact.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Analytics, Operations, and partner product teams to shape product vision and strategy.
• Structure design approaches for ambiguous problem spaces, complex workflows, shared systems, and scalable experiences.
• Deliver end-to-end product design that balances user needs with business goals.
• Guide the evolution and application of design system patterns, platform standards, and reusable interaction models.
• Set quality standards, provide design feedback, influence product direction, and mentor designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
• At least 6 years of experience designing digital products, including large-scale, platform, or high-impact initiatives.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, systems thinking, scalable solutions, and measurable business outcomes.
• Deep fluency in interaction design, product thinking, systems thinking, and design systems.
• Experience shaping product strategy, influencing roadmap planning, and designing shared platforms, internal tools, enterprise workflows, or products for multiple user groups.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, storytelling, ambiguity-management, mentoring, and coaching skills.
