What you will do

  • Own assigned manufacturing test stations as the station DRI, covering hardware integration, bring-up, troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain scalable test solutions for autonomous systems, embedded controllers, sensors, communication interfaces, power systems, and PCBAs.
  • Debug hardware and test failures with oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, and other laboratory instrumentation.
  • Extend test frameworks and automation code, add test coverage, integrate measurements, and build repeatable tests for embedded and hardware systems.
  • Partner with Electrical Engineering, Firmware, Software Test, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and contract manufacturing teams.
  • Analyze production test data, yield trends, and failure modes to improve coverage, station uptime, product quality, and manufacturing scalability.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in hardware test engineering, manufacturing test, electrical validation, or embedded systems testing.
  • Experience developing, deploying, supporting, and debugging production test stations for complex electronic products.
  • Strong understanding of board-level architectures, schematics, power distribution, circuit analysis, and digital interfaces including CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and Ethernet.
  • Proficiency with electrical laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Ability to read and modify test automation code in Python or similar languages.
  • Experience using test data, failure logs, and yield metrics for root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

  • Experience with sensor-based systems such as IMUs, cameras, LiDAR, GPS/GNSS, magnetometers, and barometers.
  • Experience testing or debugging RF and wireless systems, radios, telemetry links, antennas, and spectrum measurements.
  • Experience with embedded hardware and autonomy systems, including flight controllers, compute modules, motor controllers, navigation systems, or ground control stations.
  • Board-level debugging experience involving schematic review, PCB bring-up, power integrity, high-speed digital interfaces, and hardware validation.
