Focus on leading DevOps automation, diagnosing complex production faults, managing technical risks, and mentoring application support engineers.
Location: Sydney, NSW — hybrid work model

What you will do
- Deploy applications through CI/CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Git/TFS, PowerShell, and related tools.
- Lead automation across DevOps-supported tools and the Managed Services Platform.
- Respond to production incidents, analyze technical issues, and diagnose and correct software faults.
- Monitor application and system performance, alerts, availability, and technical risks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to application support engineers.
- Maintain support documentation, operational manuals, standards, and end-user procedures.
Requirements
- IT degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in application support.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, SDLC principles, and ITIL-based processes.
- Experience hosting production environments on AWS and virtual environments.
- Advanced knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, monitoring, automation, and flexible shift work.
