Lead Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer (US)

Location: Anywhere within the United States. Employees living within 40 km (25 miles) of a DXC office are expected to work onsite at least two days per week.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on-premises datacenters.
• Manage servers, cloud resources, storage, databases, applications, and network infrastructure.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Drive complex infrastructure projects, track milestones, resolve issues, and coordinate stakeholders.
• Analyze cost, inventory, trend, risk, and performance metrics using data analysis and Excel.
• Document infrastructure designs and configurations, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of cloud and systems engineering experience.
• 8+ years of Windows and Linux administration experience.
• 8+ years configuring and administering web servers such as IIS, Tomcat, and WebSphere.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS and Azure experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong experience with full-stack datacenter and cloud patterns, scripting, ITIL, advanced Excel, data analysis, and leading engineering teams or projects.

Nice to have

• Relevant AWS and Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with Rapid7, CrowdStrike, Ivanti, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Dynatrace, Power BI, Jira, or ServiceNow.
