Site Reliability Engineer

What you will do

• Serve as the subject matter expert for an application hosted in the APAC region.
• Support a newly onboarded client and maintain high-availability applications used by internal systems and external-facing APIs.
• Improve application scalability, availability, performance, stability, and reliability.
• Build automation to simplify operational tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve end-user experiences.
• Apply engineering principles, operational discipline, and automation across the operating environment and codebase.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer role.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes management, deployment strategies, cluster upgrades, patching, and disaster-recovery exercises.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, including Azure Metrics, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, Cloud Guard, dashboards, alerts, and KQL.
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, automation, infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation, and DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Helm, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
