Lead DevOps Engineer

Location: Austin, TX, USA; hybrid

Salary: USD 150,000–170,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead high-impact infrastructure and operational improvement projects across Engineering, Security, and DevOps.
• Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure as code and system configurations supporting hirify.global services.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, providing escalation support for deployment tooling and workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and facilitate training on platform operations and architecture.
• Document infrastructure, platform architecture, and operational standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with infrastructure as code or configuration management, including Ansible, Terraform, or CDK.
• Strong Linux command-line, AWS, Kubernetes, and HashiCorp Vault experience.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and toolchains such as Jenkins, Harness, GitHub, JFrog, Artifactory, X-Ray, and SonarQube.
• Experience with SaaS observability platforms such as SignalFx and Splunk.
• Solid Python and Bash programming skills.
• Strong written communication, independent project delivery, and experience with code reviews and team collaboration.
