Payments Operations Associate (Fintech)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; hybrid office role

Salary: $24.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Respond to client questions and resolve basic support issues.
• Assist with daily payroll checks, refunds, returns, and other financial transactions.
• Identify discrepancies, support collections, and track accounts receivable aging.
• Document operational processes and keep records up to date.
• Monitor system performance, report issues, and support operational improvement projects.
• Follow company policies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in financial services, operations, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Interest in financial operations, payments, or payroll processes.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Prior exposure to payroll or payment systems.
