Senior Accountant (Fintech)

Location: NYC Headquarters; hybrid work

Salary: $100,000–$131,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, fluctuation analyses, financial statements, and corporate filings.
• Support the month-end close and ensure financial activities comply with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide timely documentation and review support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase accounting efficiency.
• Build cross-functional relationships and support the Director of Accounting and senior management.
• Mentor junior accounting team members and contribute to ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as a CPA, are valued.
• Strong ownership, accountability, communication, teamwork, and independent working skills.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
