Senior Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

Location: Sydney, NSW — hybrid work model

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications across the full SDLC.
• Build and maintain applications using .NET, C#, SQL Server, REST APIs, web services, and application integrations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, technical teams, application support, and infrastructure teams.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and resolve production incidents.
• Contribute to application architecture, performance, scalability, maintainability, CI/CD automation, and DevOps initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers, maintain technical documentation, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• IT degree or equivalent experience, with 6+ years in software engineering or software development.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET, SQL Server, relational databases, REST APIs, and web services.
• Understanding of SDLC principles, Agile methodologies, ITIL-based processes, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Experience with Git or TFS, PowerShell or other scripting and automation technologies, AWS, and virtual environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, communication, application monitoring, and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW.
