Software Engineer III (.NET/Azure)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support business applications using C#, .NET Core, .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and support REST and WCF APIs and develop Azure-native solutions with AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness, JFrog, and automation practices.
• Translate user stories into application designs, code, code reviews, tests, and production-ready solutions within an Agile team.
• Perform performance tuning, code optimization, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
• Support production systems, manage engineering risks, and collaborate with product, analysis, QA, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of software development experience within the Microsoft .NET stack.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, REST, and WCF APIs.
• Strong Azure experience, including AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, CI/CD, and software engineering automation.
• Experience with Agile software development frameworks, production support processes, incident management, and problem management.
• A tertiary degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of generative AI.
• Prior experience in a regulated financial services environment, particularly insurance.
