EHS Specialist (Bitcoin Mining)

Location: Onsite in Corsicana, Texas, United States. Swing shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM. Work takes place in a mining or data center environment with heat, noise, varying temperatures, and physical activity.

What you will do

• Conduct safety walks, field inspections, audits, and observations across construction, electrical, operations, maintenance, customer, and contractor activities.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA requirements, NFPA 70E expectations, environmental standards, company policies, and site procedures.
• Support safe work practices covering lockout/tagout, electrical safety, confined space, hot work, fall protection, machine guarding, emergency response, and PPE.
• Deliver coaching, toolbox talks, safety meetings, stand-downs, emergency drills, and other safety awareness activities.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses, pre-task plans, permits, and work plans before work begins.
• Support incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, track corrective actions, maintain EHS records, and manage contractor safety follow-up.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in safety, construction safety, industrial operations, Bitcoin mining, data centers, manufacturing, utilities, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a related associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry and/or construction standards.
• Experience identifying hazards, assessing risk, conducting incident investigations, performing root cause analysis, and using Job Hazard Analysis and permit-to-work systems.
• Strong communication, coaching, documentation, presentation, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently onsite, maintain accurate records, manage multiple priorities, wear required PPE, and lift or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-Hour certification for General Industry or Construction.
• NFPA 70E electrical safety training or experience supporting electrical safety programs.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• ASP, GSP, CSHO, OHST, CHST, CSP, or progress toward a professional safety certification.
• Experience with high-, medium-, or low-voltage electrical work environments.
