Master Engineering Support Technician (PCBA Failure Analysis)

What you will do

• Identify and analyze root causes of SSD failures in field and testing environments.
• Conduct failure analysis on returned SSDs, quality failures, and manufacturing failures at the PCBA level.
• Set up and maintain debug systems for design of experiments and error duplication.
• Analyze test logs and categorize test failures.
• Support technical investigations and failure-analysis reporting.

Requirements

• PCBA failure-analysis or PCBA testing engineering experience.
• Ability to perform basic PCBA electrical analysis using measurement tools.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and PC-based test benches.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another engineering field.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in failure analysis, PCBA, and testing environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with failure-analysis methodologies and root-cause analysis techniques.
• Experience with PCBA-level failure analysis and RMA investigation procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage technical investigations with minimal supervision.
