Founding Product Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; on-site

Salary: $175,000–$280,000 base per year, plus meaningful equity.

What you will do

• Own the evolution of the self-serve product motion, including use cases, customer journeys, onboarding, activation, and usage.
• Build and scale the participant network through acquisition, retention, quality systems, and participant matching.
• Improve the reliability and speed of access to high-quality research participants.
• Translate customer needs and inbound requests into clear product bets, sequencing, and tradeoffs.
• Introduce lightweight product processes that improve delivery velocity without adding bureaucracy.
• Partner with engineering, design, research, leadership, GTM, and external stakeholders to turn the product vision into a scalable offering.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of product management experience, typically including startup or early-stage experience and successful product launches.
• Experience taking ownership and building products from scratch in ambiguous environments.
• Technical fluency and the ability to understand and synthesize engineering tradeoffs.
• Strong strategic thinking, practical execution, data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and user research skills.
• Excellent communication skills across engineering, research, leadership, and external partners.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, California.

• Experience with AI, data pipelines, developer tools, or reinforcement learning environments.
