Manager Manufacturing (Lean/Six Sigma)

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across a 3-shift system and standardize policies, performance measures, and operating practices.
• Optimize the 30-minute shift handover overlap to support efficient production transitions.
• Coach Supervisors and Team Leads in visible shop-floor leadership, training, and one-to-one conversations.
• Own hiring, development, performance management, appraisals, and complex team grievances.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma, operator-led continuous improvement, waste reduction, quality, and EHS initiatives.
• Manage cost-centre budgets, cycle-time metrics, labour and material variances, KPIs, and cross-functional operational projects.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years managing or supervising shift supervisors or team leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean/Six Sigma and operator-led continuous improvement.
• Experience controlling departmental budgets, managing expenses, and analyzing labour and material variances.
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, data-interpretation, process-standardization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with modern ERP and manufacturing execution systems.
