What you will do

• Lead and manage the Manufacturing and Stores functions across both Stone and Ellesmere Port operations.
• Coach and develop Operations Leads, Manufacturing Administrators, and Stores teams.
• Own resource planning and capacity management for skilled electrical and mechanical technicians.
• Monitor departmental performance via OTIF, productivity, and resource utilization metrics.
• Manage departmental budgets, operational costs, and forward resource forecasting.
• Ensure full compliance with QHSE requirements and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing manufacturing, workshop, or production operations.
• Minimum 5 years' experience within the gas, energy, engineering, utilities, or related sectors.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including first-line managers and supervisors.
• Strong expertise in resource planning and capacity management within project-based engineering.
• Experience using ERP systems, with a strong preference for SAP.
• Ability to work onsite and travel regularly between specified UK locations.

• Degree or HND in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business Management.
• Professional management qualification.
