Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and develop functional managers across Production, Test, Engineering, Planning, and Improvement for a site of ~160 employees.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals while fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and accountable culture.
• Deploy the Vacuum Technique Production System, embedding Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize productivity.
• Partner with Engineering for new product introduction (NPI) and process optimization via automation and technology investment.
• Manage capacity, labor, and schedules through S&OP, collaborating with Supply Chain on material availability.
• Ensure strict compliance with ISO 45001, 9001, 14001 and regulatory HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Significant senior management experience within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of executing operational strategies and leading organizational transformation.
• Experience managing and developing other managers across multiple operational disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Commercial and financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Eastbourne, United Kingdom.
