Special Projects Lead (AI)

hirify.global builds a B2B marketplace and AI infrastructure for the global secondhand clothing trade, connecting resellers and retailers with graded inventory from wholesalers and rag houses.

What you will do

• Take new category and sourcing-geography bets from market research through supplier onboarding, first GMV, and a feasible-or-not decision.
• Visit suppliers, graders, and rag houses in new markets to develop supply relationships and source inventory.
• Onboard brands, brokers, graders, and wholesalers, then sell new inventory into hirify.global's existing buyer demand.
• Track unit economics and competitive dynamics, making evidence-based decisions to scale or stop each bet.
• Build initial importer-of-record, duties, freight, and last-mile operating flows.
• Use and extend hirify.global's agentic outreach and enrichment engine for acquisition workflows.

Requirements

• Experience building something from zero as a founder, early employee, or owner of a new business line.
• Combined operating and commercial experience, with comfort being measured on GMV early in the role.
• Daily fluency with AI agents, automations, and workflow design.
• Understanding of inventory, margins, and trading relationships, ideally involving physical goods, fashion, resale, or marketplaces.
• Experience structuring new deals and exposure to cross-border trade, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Ability to work fully in person at the London office.

Nice to have

• Experience in resale, surplus, or secondary-market inventory.
• Experience launching a new market, geography, or product line from scratch.
• Established networks in international sourcing markets.
