Senior Manager - Investment Platforms (Wealth Management & Retail Investments)

What you will do

• Independently manage client consulting engagements from scoping through delivery, ensuring strong client satisfaction, quality, timelines, and budget.
• Develop strategies and recommendations across investment platforms, customer and adviser propositions, regulation, technology, AI, and operating models.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and lead collaborative delivery with internal and client teams.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, communicate outcomes, and manage and develop junior colleagues.
• Contribute to business development, proposal creation, pitching, account management, fee negotiations, and commercial oversight.
• Track trends across D2C, advised, and workplace investment platforms.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience delivering consulting or change projects in a leading financial institution, consulting firm, or investment platform.
• Experience leading project or programme work, managing resources, and engaging senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Significant experience in investment platforms, financial advice, or life and pension firms.
• Deep project experience in areas such as proposition, platform transformation, custody and dealing, technology and AI, or M&A integration.
• Knowledge of investment platform technologies including FNZ, Bravura, GBST, Seccl, Hubwise, SEI, or FIS.
• Business fluency in English, strong communication and problem-solving skills, commercial judgement, and willingness to travel.

• Financial modelling and business case development experience.
• Strong academic background and a proactive interest in business development and account management.
