Systems Engineer - Windows (Microsoft Azure)

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Scale and maintain HRT’s hybrid Windows deployment across endpoints, servers, cloud infrastructure, and secure remote computing environments.
• Use configuration-as-code to reduce the operational overhead of managing Windows infrastructure.
• Provision and consistently configure Microsoft Azure resources with infrastructure-as-code.
• Develop PowerShell automation and Microsoft Graph API-based tools to improve platform stability and resilience.
• Identify and remediate technical inefficiencies across Windows endpoints, infrastructure, and Azure resources.
• Participate in engineering, maintenance, and support efforts for the Windows environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Microsoft-based technology engineer.
• Experience managing fleets of Windows devices with Ansible or a similar configuration-as-code tool.
• Proven ability to provision Microsoft Azure resources with Terraform.
• Proficiency developing scripts and tools with PowerShell and developing integrations with Microsoft Graph API.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and Active Directory.
• Ability to design for security best practices, business continuity, high availability, and scalability.
