Support Analyst - Desktop

Location: London, Montreal, or Bangalore; the role provides support both onsite and remotely, with 24x5 coverage and rotational weekend on-call support.

Salary: $100,000 minimum base salary annually if located in New York; discretionary bonuses and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Provide 24x5 desktop support onsite and remotely for workstation applications, access controls, remote access, and hardware.
• Manage support requests and incidents using internal runbooks, knowledge bases, and incident-management processes.
• Partner with Level 2 and Level 3 teams, vendors, and external partners to troubleshoot complex incidents.
• Monitor alerts and proactively resolve failures, degraded services, and unavailable services.
• Automate common support tasks and collaborate on strategic technology solutions.
• Provide rotational weekend on-call support.

Requirements

• Detailed experience supporting Windows 10, Windows Server 2012+, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Office 365, Azure, OneDrive, DLP, and SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, remote-access solutions, software deployment, and desktop hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong customer-service, analytical, prioritization, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple changing priorities, follow up on tickets, and handle frequent interruptions.
• Collaborative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
