Logistics Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end inventory and asset tracking for airframes, embedded systems, sensors, payloads, ground equipment, and spare parts.
• Manage procurement, maintenance coordination, lifecycle records, and the Paris logistics space.
• Plan shipments, customs clearance, freight coordination, and export-control documentation for defense and dual-use equipment across France, Europe, and occasional international destinations.
• Lead logistics for field deployments, live demonstrations, and operational exercises, including packing, transport, site access, setup, on-site handling, and equipment return.
• Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and specialist defense logistics providers, including contracts, budgets, and supplier performance.
• Develop compliant logistics procedures for the handling, storage, and transport of batteries, RF equipment, and pyrotechnic components.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, including exposure to defense, aerospace, dual-use, or technically complex equipment.
• Hands-on experience with shipments, customs clearance, and freight coordination in France and international markets.
• Fluent French is mandatory for coordination with French military organizations, DGA, and domestic suppliers.
• Professional English is mandatory for international shipments, export documentation, and field missions.
• Strong rigor, problem-solving ability under pressure, negotiation skills, and comfort with hands-on field operations.
• Ability to work with sensitive equipment and follow defense-sector security, access-control, safety, and documentation requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with French export-control regulations, including AECA and CIEEMG licences, and DGA processes.
• Experience supporting field operations, live demonstrations, French test ranges, or military sites.
• Background in a French defense prime, neoprime, DGA, or defense-adjacent logistics provider.
