Sourcing Recruiter (AI/Robotics)

Location: Union City, California. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future employer visa sponsorship.

Salary: $65–$85 per hour, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Source, engage, and nurture passive candidate pipelines for engineering, product, and customer success roles.
• Conduct talent research and market mapping across robotics, autonomous vehicle, deep-tech, and engineering organizations.
• Integrate AI sourcing tools, automation platforms, and LLMs into daily recruiting workflows.
• Partner with hiring managers to define target profiles, refine requirements, and provide talent market insights.
• Create personalized outreach strategies and champion equitable sourcing practices.
• Track conversion rates, outreach velocity, and channel efficiency to improve sourcing strategy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of dedicated technical talent sourcing experience in a startup, agency, or high-growth hardware/software company.
• Experience sourcing hard-to-fill roles across robotics, C++, SLAM, sensor processing, AI/ML, embedded systems, or edge computing.
• Mastery of LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Boolean search, X-ray searches, and niche technology communities.
• Experience using AI productivity and sourcing tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or automated outbound platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a consultative outreach style.
• Ability to adapt quickly as hiring priorities change in a rapid-growth startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, or hardware-software integration.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS, candidate sourcing CRMs, and recruiting analytics dashboards.
• Experience sourcing for both technical and non-technical functions.
