Technical Sourcer (Robotics/ML)

What you will do

• Build and execute sourcing strategies for robotics, infrastructure, and product engineering roles.
• Identify, engage, and build relationships with passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, robotics and ML communities, journals, conferences, and referrals.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define sourcing criteria and develop targeted outreach.
• Write and iterate outreach messages for senior technical candidates.
• Track sourcing metrics, test new channels, and improve top-of-funnel conversion.
• Build organized candidate pipelines, sourcing processes, tooling, and market maps as hiring scales.

Requirements

• 2+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience.
• Successful experience engaging and closing passive, senior technical candidates in competitive markets.
• Curiosity about robotics, machine learning, and infrastructure, with the ability to discuss technical work credibly with engineers.
• Excellent written communication and outreach skills.
• High ownership, self-direction, and comfort building processes from scratch.
• Strong organization for managing pipelines, candidate data, follow-up, and multiple searches.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing for robotics, ML, or data infrastructure roles.
• Experience in the Bay Area robotics and hardware ecosystem or an established network in that space.
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
