Salary: $140,000–$290,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own and extend backend services powering matching, recruiter workflows, payments, and marketplace operations.
• Optimize PostgreSQL and the service layer to maintain platform performance as the product scales.
• Build and maintain integrations with the systems used by recruiters and hiring managers.
• Run infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, improve observability, and harden deployments.
• Strengthen authentication, access control, and data protection.
• Build internal tools and infrastructure that enable effective use of AI.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in backend systems, databases, and production infrastructure tradeoffs.
• Pragmatic decision-making focused on impact rather than novelty.
• Operational mindset with attention to observability, reliability, and on-call experience.
• High ownership and willingness to independently identify and resolve system problems.
