Backend Engineer (Go/AI)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid schedule with 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home

Salary: €80K–€120K annually plus equity

hirify.global is a fast-growing Series A startup building Agent Cloud infrastructure for AI labs and consumer and enterprise AI agents.

What you will do

• Own and scale Go services, APIs, data models, and frontend contracts behind the Dashboard and SDK.
• Design authentication, authorization, billing, and usage-metering surfaces.
• Build real-time backends using WebSockets and SSE for sandbox logs and metrics.
• Optimize database access, query performance, caching, and server-side response times.
• Collaborate with dashboard engineers to ship product features end-to-end and coordinate with Core and Platform teams.
• Make architectural decisions around observability, testing, and security.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience shipping production backend services.
• Deep expertise in Go and strong API design skills, including REST/RPC, contracts, and versioning.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience covering schema design, query optimization, migrations, and data at scale.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, server-side performance, and real-time data flows.
• Working TypeScript competence; Next.js experience is a plus for end-to-end feature development.
• Ability and interest to work in person from Prague, with strong ownership, communication, and customer-facing skills.
