Applications Engineer (Semiconductors)

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 annually for the San Jose, CA location

What you will do

• Support customers with the design and application of the company’s power semiconductor products.
• Act as a technical liaison in the field and troubleshoot system applications on customer request.
• Resolve engineering issues related to systems applications.
• Evaluate customer requirements and administer the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals.
• Represent the company at seminars, conferences, and meetings focused on product promotion.

Requirements

• BS/BE or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Understanding of schematics and PCB layouts, including PCB design tools.
• Experience with laboratory equipment for analyzing analog circuits.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively across functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with analog power management electronics.
• Experience designing and implementing DC-DC converters.
• Experience with passive component selection.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
