Intern - Technical Program Management (Fusion Energy)

hirify.global develops a simplified stellarator architecture using computer-controlled arrays of planar coils to commercialize fusion energy.

What you will do

• Support technical program management leads in creating program frameworks, roadmap schedules, and resource plans.
• Identify bottlenecks across engineering, physics, and manufacturing workflows.
• Implement lightweight process improvements using Jira and Confluence.
• Coordinate collaboration across engineering, physics, and manufacturing departments.
• Prepare detailed program updates for leadership and stakeholders, including progress, technical challenges, and proposed solutions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in an MBA program and returning to school after the internship.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of full-time experience in engineering, technical project management, or operations management.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and perform extended periods of typing, standing, or sitting.
• Ability to work on-site in a facility with industrial hazards, including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.

Nice to have

• Experience in hardware or advanced manufacturing environments.
