Vice President of Supply Chain (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, California, USA; in-person collaboration at the Playa Vista office.

What you will do

• Lead and scale the end-to-end supply chain organization across purchasing, sourcing, supplier quality, materials planning, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Develop supply chain strategy for manufacturing scale, new product introduction, production readiness, and future growth.
• Build high-performing teams, organizational structures, KPIs, reporting, and planning systems.
• Lead supplier selection, executive negotiations, long-term partnerships, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee demand forecasting, inventory strategy, production support, logistics, and warehousing to maintain material availability and delivery schedules.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, Finance, and executive leadership to mitigate risks and support production ramp.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in complex manufacturing environments.
• 4+ years leading large-scale supply chain organizations at Director or Vice President level.
• Experience across purchasing, strategic sourcing, supplier quality, materials planning, inventory management, logistics, ERP/MRP systems, forecasting, and analytics.
• Experience scaling supply chain organizations, negotiating with global suppliers, and managing complex hardware supply chains.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, satellite, defense, automotive, aviation, or other high-reliability manufacturing industries.
• Experience with vertically integrated manufacturing and scaling production from prototype to high-volume manufacturing.
• Familiarity with export control regulations and government contracting requirements.
• Experience managing organizations of 40+ employees.
• MBA or advanced technical degree.
