Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Salary: $120K–$170K per year, depending on experience

hirify.global is developing a commercial fusion energy system based on stellarator physics and computer-controlled arrays of planar coils to support zero-emission energy production.

What you will do

• Manage employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and culture initiatives.
• Refine and execute performance review cycles, including goal setting, continuous feedback, and promotion calibration.
• Identify skills gaps and create and deliver learning and development programs.
• Support compensation benchmarking, benefits administration, and equity education.
• Maintain HR data integrity, support labor and OSHA compliance, and improve HR policies and handbooks.
• Lead employee engagement and DEI initiatives, including talent-lifecycle audits and data-driven inclusion programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HRBP experience in a high-growth startup, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal labor laws; OSHA knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience coaching managers on employee relations and creating and delivering training.
• Experience with modern HRIS platforms and data-driven HR metrics.
• Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills for working with physicists, lab technicians, and other employees.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.

Nice to have

• HR experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or other hardtech environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Slack, or JustWorks.
• Builder mentality and comfort creating processes in a fast-moving startup.
