People Business Partner (AI)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Salary: $139,000 – $178,000

What you will do

• Build the people function from scratch to support 10x company growth.
• Serve as the primary people partner for client organizations, advising on hiring, performance, and organizational structure.
• Own employee relations end-to-end, including investigations and conflict resolution.
• Coach first-time managers to develop leadership skills and team alignment.
• Implement AI-native tools to automate repeatable people operations and paperwork.
• Manage core people rhythms including onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HRBP or people partner in a rapid-scaling environment.
• Expertise in managing sensitive employee relations cases and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and ability to work with legal counsel.
• Data-driven approach to tracking retention, performance, and engagement signals.
• Ability to operate at high speed with same-day responsiveness.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience with technical, field, or industrial client groups.
