Senior Engineer I - Applications (Embedded C)

What you will do

• Develop, improve, and test embedded firmware for Secure Computing products.
• Support customer onboarding for secure Platform Root of Trust devices through technical guidance and demos.
• Perform hardware integration testing, system integration, troubleshooting, deployment, verification, and validation.
• Manage customer clarifications and technical issues through the Salesforce ticketing system.
• Collaborate with multi-site, cross-functional teams and create customer application notes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and 5–7.5 years of experience in embedded firmware development and testing.
• Strong C programming skills in an embedded environment, plus experience writing Python scripts.
• Experience with microprocessors, microcontrollers, embedded software deployment, verification, and validation.
• Hands-on experience with embedded debugging tools, including oscilloscopes, debuggers, and protocol analyzers.
• Knowledge of I2C, SPI, or other networking and real-time communication protocols.
• Professional communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of basic cryptography and security algorithms.
• Experience with ARM architecture, Linux, command-line build tools, Chromium EC firmware, Zephyr, or FreeRTOS.
• Experience with MPLAB, Keil IDE, Azure, or IoT platforms.
• Familiarity with cross-platform development and debugging tools.
