Corporate Finance Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build and maintain financial projections for banking licence and payment institution/EMI applications, including P&L, balance sheet, capital, and liquidity.
• Own regulatory capital, own funds, safeguarding, and payment buffer models across regulated entities.
• Support legal, compliance, and regulatory teams through applications and regulator Q&A cycles.
• Develop business cases, investment cases, scenario analyses, sensitivity analyses, profitability models, and unit economics.
• Prepare board and investor materials, support fundraising and diligence, and contribute to valuation, structuring, and diligence workstreams for live M&A transactions.
• Partner with functions on planning, costs, investment decisions, and ad-hoc strategic analysis.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, strategic finance, financial modelling, transaction services, banking, or fintech finance.
• Experience building or materially maintaining sophisticated financial models for a bank, fintech, or financial institution.
• Exposure to regulatory financial models, including licence applications, capital planning, ICAAP/ILAAP, or regulatory reporting.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modelling skills and excellent understanding of the three financial statements.
• Understanding of banking or fintech economics, including interchange, net interest income, funding, and capital.
• Strong written and verbal English required; role is remote from the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• SQL and familiarity with BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, or Tableau.
• Python and hands-on use of AI tools in modelling, analysis, and reporting workflows.
• Treasury, capital management, or regulatory reporting experience.
• Experience with a firm pursuing or holding a banking licence.
• Big Four, investment banking, or consulting experience followed by an in-house fintech role.
