Cost Engineer (Data Centers)

Location: Hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Tempe, AZ; Greater Chicago, IL; or Boston, MA, United States

Salary: $72,000–$96,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and education

What you will do

• Attend key meetings and design reviews, monitor progress, and communicate impacts to project partners.
• Participate in site walks with the general contractor, Cost Manager, and client Project Manager to assess progress and identify cost impacts.
• Consolidate project data to prepare detailed estimates, ad hoc cost reports, and analyses.
• Maintain accurate project change management logs.
• Collaborate with the wider Cost Management team on complex client tasks.
• Monitor project financial close-out, including vendor settlements.

Requirements

• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction-related discipline.
• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management across varied projects.
• Chartered status or progress toward chartership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement from one of the listed United States locations.
