Lead Strategic Financial Analyst

Location: North America; availability to work within EST/EDT hours required

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 CAD annual total compensation for work performed in Ontario

What you will do

• Structure complex, open-ended questions spanning multiple areas of the business.
• Analyze business models, revenue streams, growth drivers, and consolidated performance.
• Build financial models and strategic analyses from the ground up.
• Find, access, and validate data using SQL and BI tools.
• Improve in-year and long-range forecasting methodologies, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Own monthly and quarterly finance reviews, reporting, risk analysis, and recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure ambiguous problems.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including driver-based models and three-statement analysis.
• Experience working directly with SQL or an equivalent querying tool and a BI platform.
• Business curiosity and the ability to investigate performance drivers in detail.
• Ability to challenge assumptions, build trusted business partnerships, and communicate complex analysis clearly.
• Experience in a complex business with multiple revenue streams or business models.
